GALGA SUGAR OPERATED ON

Sugar arrived at SOS Galgos in July with an old injury in her left leg which had soldered badly due to neglect by her ‘galguero’. Sugar was fostered by Elvira who went on to adopt her. She informed us that she felt her lameness was causing a degree of discomfort so we decided to operate on her thanks to the support of a generous donation from Isabel Marti, her guardian angel.

This week Dr. Diego Novoa successfully carried out corrective surgery on Sugar involving the placement of a plaque using the Fixin System. As you can see in the photo, Sugar is recuperating really well. Thanks to everyone involved to ensure this galgo has a bright and healthy future!
